On Sunday, we
made a foray to better understand Kenya from a cultural standpoint. We
experienced the living styles of the different tribes in Kenya along
with their customary accommodations.
Well there were many a fantastic performance, but I'm sharing one of those on the custom made drums -
I'll let the pictures speak for themselves (photo courtesy: the 'handsome' Joseph) -
We also met a group of school children on a day trip and had a great time interacting with them. We also learnt a little more Swahili during this interaction :-)
And finally we were treated by a melange of cultural performances representing the different parts/backgrounds of Kenya.
I personally marveled at the vagaries of the Kenyan tribe heritage and how closely they protect their deep-rooted traditions!
